Equifin Capital has invested through credit and distress cycles, managing the turnaround of consumer finance company Aames Financial Corporation in the early 2000’s, commercial real estate operator Brookdale Living Communities in the mid 2000’s, and is currently the lead investor in Residential Credit Solutions (RCS), an integrated mortgage investor and special servicer focused on the $ 2 trillion of at risk residential mortgage assets in the US financial system.  RCS recently completed two of the largest distressed asset transactions with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Mr. Sadeghi is the chairman of Residential Credit Holdings, the holding company of RCS.

Prior to founding Equifin, Mr. Sadeghi was Group President of AT&T Capital Corporation, with profit and loss responsibility for commercial and consumer finance businesses with over $3 billion in assets. In 1996, he was a principal in the $900 million management buyout of AT&T Capital. Prior to AT&T Capital, he managed the Strategic Planning and Business Development Group at GE Capital Corporation and began his career at Bain & Company.

Mr. Sadeghi earned an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and earned both a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Policy from Stanford University.
