Mani A. Sadeghi
Managing Partner
Mr. Sadeghi is a founder and Managing Partner of Equifin Capital and has been leading private equity investments in the commercial finance, consumer finance and related sectors since 1998. Prior to founding Equifin, Mr. Sadeghi was Group President of AT&T Capital Corporation, with profit and loss responsibility for commercial and consumer finance businesses with over $3 billion in assets. In 1996, he was a principal in the $900 million management buyout of AT&T Capital. Prior to AT&T Capital, he managed the Strategic Planning and Business Development Group at GE Capital Corporation and began his career at Bain & Company.
Mr. Sadeghi serves on the Board of Directors of Flagship Credit Corp. and Residential Credit Holdings, LLC. as its Chairman. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board of NewStar Financial, Inc., was on the board of Aames Investment Corporation and the Chairman and interim CEO of its predecessor, Aames Financial Corporation, and a board member of Brookdale Living Communities, Inc.
Mr. Sadeghi earned an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and earned both a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Policy from Stanford University. |
