Equifin Team

Mr. Tomei is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Equifin Capital and has been leading private equity investments in the commercial finance, consumer finance and related sectors since 1998. Prior to founding Equifin, Mr. Tomei was at AT&T Capital Corporation where, in 1996, he helped structure and complete the $900 million management buyout of AT&T Capital. Mr. Tomei previously held financial management and strategic planning positions within various units of GE Capital Corporation.

Mr. Tomei serves on the Board of Directors of Residential Credit Holdings, LLC and Flagship Credit Corp. as its Chairman. Previously, he served as a board member of Brookdale Living Communities, as board member and member of the Investment Committee of NewStar Financial, and as board member and interim CFO of Aames Financial Corporation.

Mr. Tomei is a graduate of GE's Financial Management Program and earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics with honors from Boston College.
